Did you get any errors during your installation?
Thanks
Hawk,
What kind of errors are we talking about here?
I have ee, I had some trouble with front page server extensions... I don't even know how I fixed it.
pgrimes,
I had that trouble when I installed the Beta Version. Two things you can do. First, if you are not on NTSF, convert your os from Fat32 to NTSF. Or Second, you can go into IIS, right click on "Default Web Site - All Task" and convert the server extension there.
That will take care of the problem.
ShoqG,
While my friend and I were installing it, we got an error on some file. Apparently, the setup was looking for some file in a certain directory but when we looked at that file, the file were misspelled.
I don't recall the exact file name right now but it has something like Hello.sdf but was named on the cd as Hel.sdf.
The first time i installed it I encountered a problem with the Windows Component update, but since then I have installed it several times with no problems. If you are still having that same problem then I would suggest trying to install it again.
thx shoqg...
ya, that's the way I fixed it (IIS settings), I just forgot what I did, I remember I tried a bunch of stuff.
Hi Shoqg,
Thanks for your consistency.
What os are you using?
You did install Enterprise Architect not the Enterprise Developer, right?
Can you help me out. Check on your 3rd cd and see if you have this file.
Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET\Vb7\VB Samples\SFL\Console-Localization-SatelliteAssemblies_VBLocalizedHelloWorld.sfl
Hawk,
sorry for the delay, i was out of the office for a few... Well i checked for that file and i do have that file on my c:\drive exactly where you said it would be. I checked the 3rd CD and it was also there, however, it is in a directory structure like this
Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET\Vb7\VB Samples\SFL\Console-Localization-SatelliteAssemblies\VBLocalizedHelloWorld\... all the files for that project.
btw... At work i am using NT 4 sp 6 and at home i'm using 2000 professional.
Also, yes it is the Enterprise Architect Version 2002.
Hope that helps.
I really appreciate your time and dedication to this thread Shoqg.
Have a great day!
