Does anyone know how to make a DBGrid with a checkbox inside? Or do you know of a third party one that is cheap? I was looking an Apex's but really the only feature I need is the checkbox thing and I am paying $300 for that.

Apex TrueDBGrid (www.apexsc.com)
Believe me you'll find yourself using more than just checkboxes in grids - and when you need to colour code, edit, sort, drag/drop, print etc you'll be glad you bought Apex TrueDBGrid...
..however if you must look for a cheaper option take a look at http://www.ComponentSource.com and do a search.
I have used TrueDB grid in the past and if you ask me it is the most use-less piece of crap grid money can buy. it's so convoluted that you'll spend three weeks just figuring out how to get data into it. Grids should be easy to use and manipulate, TrueDB grid isn't. Try out Videosoft's vsFlexGrid. It does everything that TrueDB grid does and more and it simple to use yet powerful. I have no affiliation with them I just like using there grid. Give it a try: http://www.videosoft.com
Good luck,
Mike
look on the net for axGrid. It's free and open source, as well. It doesn't have the best-looking interface, but it does the job.
Log into http://www.vbaccelerator.com they have a great free grid control that does wwhat you want. You can even download the source code for the control if required........
I agree with Missakian. I've used an evaluation copy of vsflexgrid and it's very easy to use. The only problem there is its price. For programmers like me who doesn't have that much money to buy things like that, it's kinda problem. The grid control that comes with VB just sucks!
log into http://www.vbaccelerator.com and enjoy. We use a couple of their controls in our products, because superior to Green Tree's or Sheridans.
