Last night I went out to buy some books.
I was specifically looking for books on the Win32 API, and related to Visual Basic.
I found "Visual Basic Developmer's Guide to the Win32 API".
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is comfortable with Visual Basic, and wants to start working with the API. This book is NOT as in depth as I hoped it would be, but it has LOTS of great information, and it touches Registry, Memory, Network, Internet, and Multimedia API. It even explains Subclassing, and how to do it better than any site I've seen. It also tells you how to convert C API declarations to VB.
I found this book extremely useful. It costs $39.99, it's written by Steve Brown, published by Sybex, ISBN 0-7821-2559-X
If anyone else has/looks at this book, reply with what you thought of it.
