I've never heard any complaints but toshibas are better, get the toshiba
The Toshiba model I wanted was discontinued and only had a 1-year warantee
warranty smarranty blorrity, the new toshiba laptops are well priced and they have good features
Numtel, warranties on laptops are far more important than they are on desktops. The parts in them are proprietary and very expensive. Basically if you don't have a warranty and one of your parts dies, you are royally ****ed.Quote:

how long are you planning on using this computer? it'll be obsolete in a year or two with what you probably want to do.
I'll use it until 1 THz computers are out. I.e. I'm keeping the thing until it completely dies a horrible death.
If there was one word it would be Dell...very nice...but they cost LOADS unfortunately.
