Read Only

Hello
Is there a way to make a Drive Read Only like C: or ...

Do you mean from within a vb app, or hardware setup, or windows settings. Are you sure your C: drive is Read Only????

Also need to know the OS...ie Win95, Win98, NT, ?????

Is it Local or network PC????????

WEll with-in my vb APP,
So the users could LOCK and OR UnLOCK there HDD with a application, when i say lock i mean READ_ONLY.
win95 or win98. is there a way ?
