Guys/Gals:

Prob: I have a table with a list of words... The words are
entered in the table together with the % wildcard
A typical entry is: %Josh% for example

I have a table with a list of Last names....

I want to find all the last names which have any of the
patterns listed in the Words Table...

(I would prefer not to use a cursor)...

Try "\%" or "%%" depending upon your database and the size of you weiner.
