Hardware, uhm tutorial??

Does anyone know of a website that describes the basics of CURRENT hardware? I bought OReilly's "PC Hardware in a Nutshell" and read it a few months ago, but the thing is like 2 years old. I've gone the www.tomshardware.com, but the sad truth is it's way over my head.

The truth is, I hate researching all this stuf. Too many Acronyms, components, companies, and not enough explanations. I just want to buy something good for my money! :p

Check out www.nxsupport.com's Forums. The people there are awesome and they can help you with any hardware questions you've got...
