Dsn

Hello,

I'm ready to package my app, but it use DSN to connect to SQL server!

How can i install it!

I'm using InnoSetup

Unless InnoSetup has the option of creating DSN entries, you'll have to do it yourself.

Wise Installer allows you to create DSN Entries.

ok, but how!
i took the one that i creatred on my pc and paste it
on another pc in

C:\Program Files\Common Files\ODBC\Data Sources\

and it does'nt work!

so i open the ODBC manager in the CP and it shows in the
file dsn, but when i open it to configure it the client configuration
is wrong, TCP/IP is not selected nor the port number!

So do i need some sort of registration!!

ahh, it need to be in the registery, right
