few things..

1. vb doesnt auto save so thats bs
2. all u do to refresh somethin in a pane or whatever is: something.refresh
3. maybe you should go back to vb6

A few things for you pal:
1. Vb DOES autosave (when you press F5 to debug for example)
2. If I understand it correctly this isn't really the problem..
3. Yes you indeed do help him alot by saying that :|

Anyway, I never have had the problems that you describe.. seems quite weird actually... do you have the SP1 and tried reinstalling the framework?

doesnt matter what i push, mine dont autosave, maybe mines special :p

There is an option to control the auto save feature under Tools --> Options --> Environment --> projects and solutions.

I had problems with pictures refreshing. What I found was this... If you save the project before running it works fine, but if you don't, you may have refresh problems. :D

I, personally, ALWAYS save before running it in the IDE. You never know when it will crash and you lose all your work. It just seems to me a sensible thing. I have lost a lot of work to not saving before running.

Hi

As wolfofthenorth noted previously, we can set the save options based on the three choices under build and run.

My question is if there is a further option to set an autosave that will save project automatically at specific time intervals much like MS Word & Excel, not just on build & run?

save your proj Every x interval ?? no , VS.NET doesn't do this . This wouldn't be much useful anyways .:rolleyes:
