1. Vb DOES autosave (when you press F5 to debug for example)
2. If I understand it correctly this isn't really the problem..
3. Yes you indeed do help him alot by saying that :|
Anyway, I never have had the problems that you describe.. seems quite weird actually... do you have the SP1 and tried reinstalling the framework?
doesnt matter what i push, mine dont autosave, maybe mines special :p
There is an option to control the auto save feature under Tools --> Options --> Environment --> projects and solutions.
I had problems with pictures refreshing. What I found was this... If you save the project before running it works fine, but if you don't, you may have refresh problems. :D
I, personally, ALWAYS save before running it in the IDE. You never know when it will crash and you lose all your work. It just seems to me a sensible thing. I have lost a lot of work to not saving before running.
Im thinking i have a dodgy install ( you know how it is ), will have to re-install the framework me think
thanks for your replies
Hi
As wolfofthenorth noted previously, we can set the save options based on the three choices under build and run.
My question is if there is a further option to set an autosave that will save project automatically at specific time intervals much like MS Word & Excel, not just on build & run?
Thanks
Corinne
Is there something funky about this thread or is it just me? It says GeeSpot was the thread starter but the first post I see is by wej42 and appears to be some sort of reply. Is there a missing post or something?
lol how wierd, I did indeed start this thread like last year some time. Some reason my posts have gone
Anyone have any response to the question?
I am pretty confused by this thread as well Edneeis.

THANK YOU! I thought I was going crazy there for a sec..... it's kinda hard go somewhere when you're already there. :DQuote:
