C++ compilers...
I have visual C++ 6.0 at my school, but everytime i try to build or compile something i get the same error. I believe that it is cuzed by the administration at my school :( i looked up around the forums and i cannot access the registry codes to let me compile /build..... so :)
I`m stuck with a decent program i cannot build with, and some half ass code :)
I think i`m going to have to download a program to buld with :( and that meens a whole new compiler. :) I would rather not do this .. but i`m running out of options
so my quest is
-Do i bother trying to fix this error or...
-find a very small compilar to build with (0n network at school and we are restricted how much space we can use, and if download on c will be erased next time i boot my comp.)
This is my err.
:confused:

Hmm it seems that your compiler executable couldnt be executed at all (it's there right?)
Maybe try borland C++ than.. not sure how big it is, but since you already have VC++ why not ask your school administrator to fix it?
-
:) my school admin, does not fix :)
unless he says it broken, and he usualy does more harm thne good when he tryies to fix...
i will look for borland C++, ...
thanks

http://www.borland.com/products/down..._cbuilder.html
there it is I guess..
5 MB or so, don't know how fast your connection is, but it's do-able I guess

:) Thanks... the smallest one i found so far was 12Mg, and the guy sitting beside (who actualy private messaged me throught VB square ) me thought it would get noticed and deleted within an hour... :)
so 5mg or so i may be able to keep for a few days...
so thanks for giving me some hope for completing this project :)

? what?
I think there are smaller compilers than that though

:( i know, but have yet to find one
but arh my proggraming teach is going to let me reinstall visual c++ on his comp outside of the network... i will see it helps, if not must be enviroment err, or something :( i don`t know
i`m lost :confused:

look at the free compilers below, maybe there are even smaller ones :) don't feel like testing all the links for ya though ;)

Damn :) thought i could get u too do all the work for me :)

This is usually a registry problem. When you've uninstalled VC++, make sure you delete the whole VC++ registry key before reinstalling it.

mmm.. i can`t uninstall or reinstall visual because i do not have that ability of the network... :( i knew it was a registry error. (i don`t have the disk freeze pass)
