So I downloaded this program, DesignWorks Lite, that draws electronics schematics, and after the thirty days, when the trial ran out, I tried deleting it. I went to Add/Remove programs in the control panel, clicked on DesignWorks in the listbox, clicked remove, it gave me a messagebox saying it uninstalled correctly, and refreshed the listbox. I think, though, that they put List.Clear instead of List.RemoveItem(Index) because now the listbox is empty. NOTHING in it at all, which really pisses me off to no end. Deleting stuff will be a pain in the butt now. Is there any way I can fix this?

Do you have a system backup? If so you could find some of the necessary file from there.
If you know what the file is, you can go to http://www.recover98.com. This software will recover deleted items. I don't know if it would work in this situation but it might be worth a try.

but I don't want to get that program back. I want to get the list of programs I have installed back on the Add/Remove programs list.

you can kick your registry back upto 5 days unless your config has been changed.
boot up into dos and load in
scanreg
and choose the day before when u uninstalled the application.
If you understand the registry you can export the add/remove programs key and go back to the current registry and reimport it.
If not download Regclean from the microsoft site and use it to clear your dead keys from going back to the state before the app was uninstalled.
If you have installed anything else you might have to reinstall them again

This has happened to me before, but i formatted the computer instead :(

A success story
Thank you guys so much. I ran scanreg, restored the registry from a few days ago, and it started up just fine. This is the epitome of a success story. It was beautiful. I just hope there won't be any severe repercussions.
