can anyone help me i am writing a program that has a registration screen that appears
first, and only goes when you enter the correct code, but the problem is stopping that
reg screen ever appearing again, once the password is entered correctley

You could put a key in the regestry that gets read when the program starts. If the key is set to one value it shows the screen if see to another it doesn't.
