Get well soon, kid.
Nobody calls a 20year old a kid :p
Hey kid :p , what did you do to your leg?
How'd you break it?
It was a car accident. Don't ask me how... I did a very stupid thing while driving the car.
Don't ask me what it is.. It's really stupid :D
Car accident? that's no good.
Try ... skydiving or snowboarding accident, that'll
get the chicks for sure...
maybe tell them that you ran with the bulls in... pom.. pop...
Spain.
You gotta jazz it up a little bit.
try again.
How'd you break your arm and leg? probably doing something really
dangerous huh?
JPiccasso is right on target about that. I tore a ligament in my knee walking across isles in an airplane. I was carrying all my gear (Army) and got caught up and twisted around. Tore my ACL.
But I tell chicks I got the injury when we did a HALO over Panama. I have a cool scar too. Chicks dig cool scars. :)
you tore your ACL walking through an airplane??? wow yeah you better make up some stories for that one :p
I was carrying about 100 lbs of gear at the time. The stewardess told me to go down one isle and one of my dip**** leaders told me to come over to his side of the airplane "for accountability." Like where am I going to go at 30,000 feet???
Anyway, I had to walk between the seats, and if you've ever been on an airplane, you know there's only about 10 inches between them. I got my foot caught, but inertia kept me going and before I could do a thing about it, my ligament was torn.
I agree that it's a really lame story, but that's how it happened. Thats why I tell chicks that it happened when we pulled our hummer up next to an Iraqui tank and my injury occured when I jumped from the vehicle onto the tank. Even though I was in excruciating pain, I was able to ignore it long enough to disabled the commander and driver and take control of the tank.
haha I like that story :p  of course it was a special suped up tank going around 85 mph right? :D
Um.. Tailbone injuries (snowboarding) aren`t all that attractive..Quote:

Trust me.. Its been 4 months.. and it still hurts like ass

It was a tank that the U.S. never reported the Iraquis have because they didn't want to frighten the general public. They were nuclear powered, capable of hovering and could reach almost mach 1. Of course, our hummer couldn't go that fast. We were red-lined and I had to jump pretty hard as the tank was accelerating away from us.Quote:

I'm sorry... the memories are too painful. Maybe I can continue with more of this story later. Now I need to go for a walk and shoot a squirrel or something to get rid of the memories.
:sigh: more nightmares tonight :(
Drama Queen :rolleyes:Quote:

Split a nail on the keyboard once...
erm i have never broken a bone in my life, got a munch of cool scars on my hands from various accidents with sharp knives though, i have 3 scars a good 2 cm long, on where i wanted to band something with a chisel so i sorta stabbed at it, anyways i missed whatever i was stabbing at and hit my first knuckle on the index finger on my right hand. Then i was playing with a knife (sharpening a pencil with it actually) and the blade got caught in the lead, so i pushed a bit harder, the lead then brok and cut my hand quite a ways lengthwas (same finger actually)
Um... It IS your ass, shouldn't it feel like one? :pQuote:
