I never got those case plugs in the mobo correcly, and would kinda like to have them working. I have an EPOX 8K7a and antec 630x (i think). Where do the plugs go?

Check your mobo manual... Seriously, it should have which plugs are for what connecter...
for example, the case your have a 2 hole plug and the mobo would have 3 prongs
what plugs?
havent looked at it since october. a couple of them arent right
The motherboard manual should have all the positions for the cables marked on it. They might be marked on the board too. Surely it's not that complicated? If you don't have the manual, look on the Epox website and see if they have the manual in PDF format.
I have a manual, and its marked on the mobo, but the case pins dont match whats on the mobo, so which plugs do I put in which sockets? Anyone else have this mobo/case config?
Are you saying the names for the plugs don't match?Quote:

for example, the case would have a plug with 2 holes saying HDD. Then the mobo would have 3 prongs saying HDD.
Does the motherboard tell which of those three are ground?
ground? no?
well, what does it tell? If there are three prongs on the motherboard for something and the case has only two plugs, you're probably supposed to plug the wires from the case into two of those three. You just gotta figure out which two.Quote:

yea. thats my question.
With my current mobo, I thought the same at first, look again to see if there's another spot for the 2 prong...
