Well, I get my opinions from a trusted source since I haven't seen a hockey game since I went to a Ft. Wayne Comets game when I was 11. So here's the opinion I was told to have from my trusted source:

Also, this is the bandwagon effect. Just because the Red Wings have won so many in a row, doesn't mean they're the best. Most of the voters don't even know what they're voting about. They probably think to themselves "hey... uh.. yeah ... I've heard of Detroit... that's where them cars come from... uhyuk..."
and they vote there.

PAALEASE.........The only reason Colorado won the cup last year was because everybody was pulling for Ray Bork, including the NHL officials. It was a media frenzy, a real "feel good" story.
Colorado has some great talent, Roy, Blake, Sakic. Forsberg I believe is nominated for an Academy Award.
