Re: Here Are Parts I've Chosen
Sorry to offend you but I think about half your **** is the OPPOSITE of what I'd choose :D
Raidmax case blah blah...would look at the coolermaster selection instead
Toshiba DVD-RAM...DVD RAM is not DVDRW...and the discs can't be used in DVD players
You realize that's a VERY loud fan on that SK6...would go with the AX-7 and an 80mm fan with decent airflow...will cool better than the SK6 and quieter too...
:eek:IBM hard drive wash your mouth out young man!:p IBM drives are the WORST....if you want 120GB get a Western Digital with 8MB cache..
Yeah go ahead...keyboard
If you're going to get a DDR333 board don't get DDR266 RAM...get Samsung DDR333
Modem..fine
I *hate* LCD monitors...they are not only small but can only one at one resolution. Get a good CRT
Good choice Epox motherboard...
What the hell is up with you and Raidmax, get an Antec PP412X (not those new TruePower ones)
You don't need a proc that fast...but whatever
Yes good sound card :)
Logitech Z560 speakers if you can afford em
PNY...nah...go with Leadtek/Gainward

I can't believe you actually said that. My view is that there is no such thing as too fast. Too expensive is possible, but not too fast. The way I see it, if you an afford it, go ahead and get it.

What I mean is, it's about $50 more for an extra 66Mhz? What's up with that? Sure if you can afford it get it, but a 66Mhz faster CPU isn't gonna do a whole lot, and I could do a lot more with that $50...:D
