I don't see the option for turning it off, and I already have disabled the XP balloons using TweakUI.

Um, don't make your privacy settings so damn high?

Mem free :p
Me = no want teh ads, but that bloody popup is worse...
If would appear you have Zone Alarms Ad Blocking feature on
Turn it off...it slowed browsing down so much it's worse than the pop ups it is trying to prevent. Plus that bloody bubble thing is almost as bad in itself.
tsk tsk language Furby ;p
Well maybe on your poopy dialup it did :p, no noticable slowdown here...Quote:

It was nothing to do with that, it was ZA crawling the HTML source which slowed it like a tortoise on hash
My best advise it to get yourself Norton PersonalFirewall :D it has a nice ad blocking feature too so... the only annoying thing about Norton is that whenever some Sub7 "hacker" wants to get in, I see a blinking ! where the try icon is.. but that's it..

As in, you let a program through, then you put another program with the same size and filename - does it notice?Quote:

not sure TBH...
I thought you just meant picking up on outbound attempts
No they both block outgoing traffic, but ZoneAlarm actually verifies the content of the executable file; I don't know if Norton got their act together and put this in.
