no cheerleader peet, don't do it!!!!!!!!!!
Just say no to XP.
hmmm although i love XP i wouldn't reccomend that upgrade, Windows 2000 is also a great OS, if it was from any other MS OS i would say Yes immediatley. When i was getting XP i came from 98 so it was a great upgrade for me but win2k is comprable to XP so stick with 2k
2000 has more administrative features, ability to be installed on more than 1 computer, more stable, has IIS out of the box. I think you should keep it.
err if you know how you can install XP on more than one computer, if you have admin access you can do quite a bit in XP, and IIS ooooh take that! a crappy web server! Although i still agree you should stick with 2kQuote:

A. IIS blows
B. I can only see one reason to upgrade, for the fancy GUI.
C. Windows 3.1 OWNZ YOU ALL!!!!!!! :p

Ok guys thanks for u'r feedback.
I will obey and do as I'm told (by u guys) win2k stays.
:)
Hah but you have no witty comeback for XP on the stability issues ;)
:p :D
Stability issue? XP has no stability issue, in all the time i have had it, it crashed once because of XP (the crappy geforce drivers caused it to lock up a few times but that isn't XP's fault)
GeForce drivers are anything BUT crappy, NV is legendary for kickass drivers. The OS is at fault.Quote:

Surprised that you haven't had any stability problems most people have somit or other wrong with it..
the only thing i don't like about XP is when i make/resize/delete a new partition (a few times a week) it pops up that i need to restart to register all the new hardware that it detected. Even though i only partitioned it, it won't leave me alone until i restart. but that is just a minor quell
