"Reminder" app

can anyone recommend a free/cheap reminder type app that sits in the system tray and pops up a message to remind you about stuff on days/times etc

I can't be arsed to make my own :p

I thought yours only did time of day rather than events like a year away and stuff.

No, but theoretically (I haven't looked at the code for months :p) it only does it on a day-by-day basis...crap, even I forgot the features of the program! :eek: BTW, it looks like crap on 2000, the window cutting-up code doesn't work on NT kernels.

I found this and d/led the eval. I really like it but it's 20 bucks and a crack I downloaded ****ed the computer up :rolleyes:

Find a h4x0red version of Office XP and use Outlook

i tape a piece of paper to my forehead. that way whenever i look in the mirror i get a friendly reminder :)

Others probably remind you too ;)

good suggestion, but I don't think the boss will go for that approach ;)

I find the nearest homeles person, and carve the reminder into their back. Then I give them $10 to come and find me when I need reminding.
