vb help

can someone help me..im trying to make the triple triad from final fantasy...but then i remembered i was stupid...right now the code looks incredibly long for what i have and i need a way to randomly select cards...everytime i run with rnd it gives me the same sequence of decks...please can some give me at least of what i should do....(besides easying up on punctuation)

Are you using Randomize or Randomize Timer?

i really need to read a book on vb or something because i have no learned a thing
