I would say you are probably correct in your assumption that most of us are male, but there are some ladies out there.;)

Oh dear, and even looks like they were having a good time around here...
Perhaps a promotional gimmick like "Naked Thursdays" would encourage more female membership.
:)
TELL ME WHY??????? I really don't get it....why is programming done mostly by men????? I noticed this at school - my class in programming had 2 girls out of about 25. ***?? There is quite obviously no restriction in terms of physical demand for women....and despite some machisimos attitudes out there, women are just as smart as men....so why is that guys like programming more than gals??? Is it cause us guys like to tinker with things and make them work? (aka mechanics, electronics, etc.) WHAT IS THE DEAL????
So you're a feminist. How cute. :)Quote:

Men are better at task-intensive job where you need to concentrate more. Women are better at multitasking in the general sense.Quote:

Thus, the distinction. A woman would make a better manager, a guy would make a good coder.

Yeah I put it down to guys generally like to mess around with things by changing stuff to see the changes are, whereas women arn't normally bothered what will happen just that it works how it is ;) ;)
Women are probably more easily confused by all the loud noises and shiny things.Quote:

Men are better at concentrating on doing something. Like concentrating on programming. We think in a single thread.
Women can do multithreading. Several thought processes simultaneously.
