Ok, I got Mandrake installed finally and I'm running KDE. It says on the Madrake site that you can view your other files as well. I have a logical drive that is all MP3, but I can't view it in Mandrake. Why can I browse my other drives? I have Mandrake installed on logical drive G:. Windows in on a separate HD on drive C:, and drive D: is a logical drive on the same HD as G:. Any help on exploring my files with Mandrake is appreciated.
well first of all linux can't read NTFS, if you have ntfs too bad, the other drives you have are in /mnt . I have NTFS so i just made a 1 gb file swap partition so that i can swap files back and forth with
GG is totally correct....am thinking samba wont even help here... you may have to revert to FAT32.....If your PC is multi OS then not a bad decision...
