This is horrible - I have just reinstalled Win2K and am still downloading the latest graphics card drivers. Oh wont they please hurry up.:(

it should default to 800x600 under 2000 using standard vga drivers if I remember correctly

It started off at 640 x 480 but I can change it but the drivers have just downloaded so now there is no need.:)
