How do you get the readability scores?
Make a spelling mistake, then go to tool>Spelling&Grammar. Then click the Options button, and there should be a checkbox for it.
Of course, thats in office XP, but it should be the same.:)
In Word 2000 goto:
Tools > Options > Spelling & Grammar
and then click on 'Show readability statistics' in the bottom left-hand corner.
Im sure theres a better way, but he has to make a spelling error in the doc first, or else it'll just say "Spellcheck complete".Quote:

thanks :)
nishantp - That was just to enable it. In Word 2000 you don't need a spelling mistake...it will always display the readability stats.
oh ok cool:)
Perhaps previous posts answered your question. I copied the following from MS Word Help.
- In the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Spelling & Grammar tab.
- Select the Check grammar with spelling check box.
- Select the Show readability statistics check box, and then click OK.
- Click Spelling.
- When Word finishes the spelling check, it will display readability statistics.
