How to using Word97 to generate a invoices?

Hi.. All..
I am fairly new in this world.. and I am a junior vb programmer.. so can anybody help me the below question..?
Q1) Write a code for the maintenance of all the database tables, based on the functions required by the system. Note that in some circumtances the customer is sent an invoice for what they currently owe. If that is the case, then yoor application should make Word97 available to user, so that they can create the invoice.(Consider how you could open Word with the invoice document already display?!)
that the problem i have currently.. i never touch this kind of question.. so. please give me a hand.. i will appreciate u kindness... thx..
