Concurrent Users??
Hi all,
I am currently working on a product based on an access 2000 DB..
I am thinking of switching to MSDE or SQL server and was wondering if anyone knows of a site detailing the recomended concurrent users in access?? I am looking for some info to help support my case for going to MSDE...
(I have searched MSDN and not had much luck)
Thanks...

The maximum number of concurrent users in access is 255 (from http://support.microsoft.com/default...;EN-US;q136128 )

Thanks Martin... however I was aftyer a realistic figure... not microsofts maximum..
I would have thought it would be undr 50 users...
Anyone else got any more info?

I have heard, although I'm not sure how much truth there is to it, that some people have encountered problems with Access when there has been as little as 5 users accessing the same tables.
Mega.

According to the documentation MSDE recommends no more than 5 concurrent users for optimal performance, but it is just a scaled down SQL Server 7 so you'd think it'd do better than that.
