Scan data into database

Dear friends, it might be appropriate to post this question at here. But because I had met so many brilliant people here, I would give it a try. I want to scan some data into database from some paper files. The data on the paper file is in very neat format. Have anyone done some projects similar like this, please help, Thanks in advance

Haven't, but you may want to check our OCR packages to get the data, or alternatively perhaps the images held on shared drives and pointed to by the db....

But I think you will definately need an ocr package to get the data...
