Trapping MouseMove in Third Party App

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can help me out with trapping the mouse movements in a third party application. I would like to find out when the mouse is being moved in the third party application and what the coordinates are when it is being moved.

I believe I need to use the Windows API???

I'd appreciate some help and code samples if possible.
