I've got my job review comming up and my boss asked me this qestion to have anwsered by my review......
DESCRIBE HOW I CAN HELP YOU IN 2002 ACHIEVE PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND FULFILLMENT
what would any of you say to somthing like this... ohh i'm a VB, Lotus script, RPG, ASP coder for this compamy.....

In all , seriousness I would ask for company paid training.
Of course like Glen says..at exotic locations would be a plus!!
Yeah pay raise would be nice... but i think i need to word this alittle better so they do that...
it's nice when management takes the time to give a crap isn't it :D

how about allowing you to expand your own abilities with the companies help, thus helping them and you?

they gave me this big list of questions like this... i feel like i'm applying for my own job...
At least someone at your company is qualified to give you an IT review. My last annual review was due almost a year ago, my annual review is due in a month or so, any bets I don't get one and I get a mediocre pay increase? You know, the kind they give to burger flippers @ Mcdonald's (3%)? And you know they would never pile on MORE to my job description and not pay any more for it. I have to fill out my review with similar questions, but no one reads it nor do they care. Exotic lands and training, I would trade for that in a heart beat.

Sometimes "going through the motions" is better than nothing though.
I'd say training in exotic locations would be great, but
training by exotic dancers would be even better! :D
