VAX D-Float (and IEEE)

Hello,

Does anyone know a good site where the VAX D-Float format for floating point values is explained? (I also could use some information about the IEEE format)

I'm writing a conversion program. The floating point values of the original data is in VAX D-Float.

It seems I've found a website which explains VAX D-float values already. The explanation is very similar to the IEEE 754-standard , but there are some minor differences.
