Gotta upload the new version, has my temps now too
I have a hard time believing those temps are obtained with a Tt Volcano..what other methods of cooling do you have?
That's it, I'll post a screenshot of MBM 5 if you want.... I've always gotten great temps, I think it's because my mom refuses to run the heater so its always 55 F in here :( :( :(
Ah, that would explain it... Lot different than having to run the A/C like I do right now... My rooms 84 or so... Maybe that's why I have temps of 46 or so half way idle....
haha
Uploadin mo stuff
thanks :) i made the rig in the sig image btw but everyone can put it in their sig (along with the rig in their sig :D)
All Hail jpb, leader of RITS!!!
:D Put the rig in the sig with your rig and your sig in your sig! :p
I think the temperature guage on my computer is broken. It always says I am running at like 55 degrees ceclius
Nah I have a friend like that and he only has one fan in his whole computer on the CPU...could that be your problem?:D
Some temp sensors run high..what board do you have?Quote:

I know Asus temps tend to run very high...Epoxes are a little low...abits are about accurate.
What are yur temps jpb? Ya need to put them in yur sig
Mine are embarrassing because the chipset fan on my Epox 8kha+ is busted..so its giong for RMA soon. it has another problem too, one of the DIMM slots doesn't work, if it were just a fan problem I'd just replace teh fan.Quote:

Put a crystal orb on that, that'd be shweet
No, no no... What will be shweet is my kick ass Alpha PAL 8045 with a 100 cfm fan on it!!!
Bah, I hate fanatical people with temps..Quote:

if your load temps are under 50 you are fine.
a 100cfm fan will drive you literally out of your mind.
I am thinking of getting a Mechatronics 50.6 80mm fan (I have a bit of extra cash left over from selling my hard drive), it's about 39db and from what I hear (no pun intended) it's not screaming-loud yet it cools very well.
Meh, I deal with the noise by cranking up the music.
I have 13 fans in my rig.
my temps are low enough that my mobo doesnt melt :)
Having a noisy as hell computer is a waste. I'm not going to be a wimp and insist on a Zalman or something, but there's the line you have to draw between good cooling and your sanity.Quote:

Maybe not everyone CAN listen to music all the time, what about when you are at your computer doing a report, etc, do you really want to hear a few Delta Screamers going?
My rig is cool, quiet, and overclocked, there's no need for any Deltas. If you want cool and quiet get 4 Panaflo L1As from www.bgmicro.com, $2.50 each. they make next to no noise and 4 of em is still nearly silent.
BTW, for those of you that don't know, Zalman Flower Cooler is the near-silent CPU cooler. www.quietpc.com
meh, noise has never bothered me much. In fact, when I'm doing a report there has to be music in the background, or I can't think straight. but for most that many fans is excessive.
New version, 3dMark2k1 score and compressed a little bit more
About my 13 fans, I have most of them hooked up to a rehobus so I can vary the voltage. Like right now all I have going is my blower card and my chipset fans. The only thing I can really hear is the tt fan; at 7200RPM that is a loud bugger
Mine's loud, and hot... I have to keep my comp cool, since my room is already very hot... I somehow manage to have it running at 107 F right now... I'm going to watercooling for Christmas most likely, very cold, and near silent...
New sig!!!
