Hi. I'm just getting started on learning the 68000 Motorola Assembler.
Can someone explain how you start and declare variables in a program. I know it's something like:

X EQU Something....
... would declare X as a long I believeCode:X DC.L 0
Yeah, I was thinking more along the lines of how do you create space to store the program and the data, etc., etc.
... something like that if I remember correctly ... actually its in the back of the handbook of mathematicsCode:PSTART EQU $800
