I havent' registered a domain before:D but don't you have to pay for a server if you want to have a REAL site?! what's the use of DNS then? (maybe I'm confusing the terms here:rolleyes: :D )

Yeah, I think I'll use GoDaddy.:)

I'm not running it off of mine, it's going to be dedicated, so I don't really care about the email forwarding and dynamic DNS.:D

oh...and by the way...I'm thinking of starting my own design site. Anyone got any ideas for names?

I know that, but I meant I have no use for Dynamic DNS, which is what filburt uses....and cheap little redirector to your local server.

Well you dont always have to pay for a server if you have yor own dedicated ip, and then you can run your own server.
