Something has gone wrong with my system fonts, today when my computer booted up a few different things that fonts used in windows were screwed. For example menu's, like at the top of each programs menu'sand the menu that you got when you right clicked, my start menu etc. It was using a font called fixedsys or something and that sort of thing. So I went into display and fixed it for the menus fonts. But it also affected a few other things. Like something the display calls Window Text. which the display option did not have the option to fix.
So I went into visual basic, and saw that is now used this fixedsys
font for the text in the code window for some reason, and I just can't stand this font. I went into options and tried to change the font, but it just didn't look the same and when I typed something like me. in the forms code and the menu of functions you could call on came up it was still that fiexedsys font which I really can't stand. I went to dos and reinstalled windows 98 and all the other things that were effected went back to normal but seeing I changed the general font in vb, to a different one cause I couldn't stand it well, I don't have the old one back.
So I am just wondering what the normal font for vb code window is I have 1200 fonts and can not really be bothered going through them all looking for it and if I did I probably could not tell exactly which one it was. so can someone find out for me if you don't know how to find this out what you do is:
1. open up your visual basic up.
2. then go to the tools menu and select Options.
3. Then click on the edit format tab
4. then you should see a frame with the caption "Code Colors"
5. click on the normal text item in the list box.
6. look over to where it says font.
7. Jot that fonts name down.
8. and please post the name of that font on this topic.

Ok, it says Arial (font size 9) but thats becuase I'm using arial cuz I want to see all my code not, scrolling scrolling scrolling to search for it. I think there was something like fixedsys of lucida console before but i'm not sure
