This issue first came up when we upgraded to these PHP forums. The previous BB did not update its post count when we had to prune some of the older posts to save space. Back in December, we had to remove all posts from before September to keep the server alive under the strain of the quantity of data. This was a one off - unfortunately, it was not something that we had any choice about. This will not happen again though as this new software can cope much better with the volume of traffic.
I have checked the data from before the most recent upgrade - you had 150 posts, so there have not been any lost since the last upgrade. I'm sorry about the situation, but we had no other options.

John,
I get the idea that this matter mainly concerns the pos-count rather than the physical existence of the post in the forum. So I thought, maybe you could make a table in your DB that holds the membername and his/her postcount. This way you can delete posts periodically after some while but still maintain the post-count of each member....
We have now done that, so if we did ever have to remove posts (which we won't!), it will remember the number of posts.
