I saw in one of your posts (closed now or I would have put this there) that you use NetZero for internet. I use FreeInternet from http://www.freei.com . After I set everything up, I didn't like the ads either, but I noticed something. When registering, you get a username, password, and phonenumber to dial. It just so happens that that is all you need for a dial up connection. So I started a new connection, put in the phone number, the password and username, and haven't seen an ad since.
I suppose this isn't ethical, or probably even legal, and I even feel kind of guilty when I do it, but I like the ads even less.

So, what you are saying is when you start a new copy of FreeI, it goes away?
As for ethical, yeah, I guess not. Actually, I am not really doing anything drastic to it. I am not hiding it or anything. All I am doing is making it move to another location when my pointer touch it. I don't think there is a law against AutoMove.
But Thanks for your input on FreeI

Speed
Is the free service really worth?
I signed a free Internet account here in Argentina, but it is deperately slow, so I'll keep with my expensive old one for now...

Yes Sir!
Free internet in America is actually pretty fast. It takes a bit longer to attach files but other than that, it is pretty cool speed with a 56k modem.
Use Netzero. I just install the FreeI internet a couple of minutes ago and did not like it at all. I uninstalled. Hum!!! Sounds like a paid advertisement. Anyway, Netzero is the way to go!!!!!!!

For a 56k modem, it's fast enough. And I never see the ads. I just used the number, password, and username to start a dial up networking connection. It's so easy.

Hello Bob!
I follow the instruction you posted earlier. I ran another instance of it once it opened but it gave me sometype of error message. I think they found out and upgraded the version. You propably have an older version. I downloaded the FreeI_2.exe(something like that)
Anyway, thanks for your input.

I think the unethical part is force feeding users with Ads.Awhile ago i made a simple program that actually hides the Ad windows. At first it was only for netzero but i found out that it worked for alot of different Isps.
Right now I have it working for
Netzero
Bluelight.com
Freei.com
and spinway.com
I use AOL but when the busy signals piss me off I usually goto one of the Free Isps.

Thanks for the input Sulo!
Anyway, is there anyway you can email your code. I just want to see how different is it from mine. If not, thats cool!

Well I dont have just simple code....I've made a full fledged program. To find the program goto http://coderage.gq.nu. It still has some bugs but it gets the job done.

Hello Sulo!
FYI...For some reason, it doesn't work on my computer.
Besides, I am actually more interest in the code not the exe itself. They only provide the exe but not the code and method. Oh well!
Thanks anyway
