Winsock Name

I build a system that you can only have internet access if you plug in the card, Is anything that winsock control can do to change the name or other way to disable internet access and enable it back. Do this control work stablely.

You are thinking of a firewall.
Using winsock wont help out much there. http://www.ntfirewall.com
