Does anyone know how to decode, or where I can read up on Ole Errors. One error I got recently looked like this:
Run-Time error'-2147417848(80010108)': Automation Error
What the heck does this mean? There any way of telling which object is generating it?
Automation error is a general error that is raised when your program and the server(dll, exe) are unable to connect.
Decoding: the error number that is raised is added to
-2,147,221,504. COM's errors range up to 511 and from there up to 65,535 are custom errors.
