Installing .net

Installing .net

have downloaded the setup.exe and tryed to install .net framwork SDK but it came up with an unspecified error, just woundering what the setup program requires before installing

i know it it needs IE 5.01 or higher and MDAC 2.7 is there anything else i need to now about network stuff etc

The beta version of the SDK can only be installed on NT based systems.

yeah got

Win NT sp6

and got an unspecified error???

any ideas
