2d Dx Help!?!?

Looking for a good 2D DX tutorial... I have search for dx tutorials on this forum and I guess I'm too dense. I sort of get it but how can a person remember the complicated API calls???

Is there a API-Guide for DX?

Oh and if I need to know DX7 for 2d then I guess I need a DX7 tutorial.

Thanks for putting up with my post that I probably could have search out on my own. I just want a short cut :(

I also suggest reading over the DirectDraw documents that come with DX7 for some specifics as explained by the creators.
