We now have an office webcam, so you can see part of the office I am in:

Unfortunately, you can only see me when I'm at work :rolleyes: It's updated about every 30 seconds or so I think.
I have no idea what the crosshair is doing there and nobody else seems to know either. Matt (the main networky techie type guy) set up the webcam on his machine I think, and I've just got a link to it.
I should be making another appearance about 9:30 or 10:00 am til around 6:00 pm GMT tomorrow. I know you're all terribly excited ;)

I was thinking of doing the same thing except I have a home office... and I don't think my wife would... appreciate people knowing all that goes on in this room :eek:

Er, I think I know who you mean and no, he's not. Nobody really has a specific assigned boss here, but there are a couple of people I talk to about what I can be doing, and then there's 2 directors, who get to make the main business decisions if they want but otherwise just act like everyone else.

Actually the director for the company I work for does some of the most menial work here. He makes all the important decisions and negotiates business deals but he also has a list of partnumbers that need the description changing produced for him and he assigns parts to things. It's the most tedious job I know.
noone really knows what our Directors (and MD for that fact) does!

we have about 40 office staff (lost one yesturday) and nearly 100 total including the people on the shop floor
(+7 in keighly engineering)
Well, where I work there are only 35 people, and I am pretty sure Harry's place don't have that many people working there. So, there has to be a lot more inter-company communication. Probably.
About 20 in total here, although at any one time there's usually at least 5 people either still in bed, working at home, in the States or off sick ;)
So when are you going to get a bit closer to the camera then Harry!? :D
