MAPI attachment from AS400

I am writing a program that will allow the user, from an AS400 to send Email and attach a file to the email as well, i can get the MAPI to see the file if it is on the local PC or on a networked PC or Server, however when i try to attach a file on the AS400, i get an Error 32012 Message "Cannot open attachment"

Does anyone know of a way around this..? preferably that doesn't involve not using the AS400 :confused:
