As for commencing to my system programming route,
I program a driver, in QuickBasic.
It's a mouse driver.
I am able to connect to the mouse, without mouse driver loaded :)
but, I can't decode the three bytes data correctly
Currently, my driver detects right button and both button but not left button clicked. I can detect X but not Y.
I couldn't decode everythin' properly.
Need help...Anybody?

But the code's buggy, I don't think u want it.

i know what your trying to do but i think i have found an easier way. there is a such thing called qbasic 7.1 future library now that comes with a mouse driver. it this you can use in qbasic things like
futuremouse.x
futuremouse.y
futuremouse.button
you can download qb7.1 future library from the net. if not just pm me and i will try and get you a copy
