The first one did, I had to wipe hard disk. I was more prepared for the subsequent ones though.Quote:

Moral of the story: update your virus definitions EVERY day! Two days ago, the latest one to be sent to me didn't exist. By some stroke of luck I updated definitions yesterday!!

We get a new McAfee at least every week, more ofen if there's a problem. We're on 4173 just now.
If not, the plural won't be 'viri'. Same as hippopotamus. Or 2 of them!
