I want to return what Server a DSN is pointing to from VB Code. Thank you in advance!!!!!! GENE

What server?!? As in what db provider (Access/oracle/etc)?? or as in an IP address??

I want to retrieve the name or IP (IP would be better) and I'm referencing an SQL Server. Thanks for replying to my question!!!

Hmm I don't know how to do that...there should be a way though. Try posting the question in the General forum, there's more people that read them there.
