Determining when a control is dropped into a container...

I am building an ActiveX Control that has control resizing properties in it.

What I want to know is how does the UserControl know when a user drops a control on it during design-time? I need to automatically run some code when a control is dropped onto the container.

Any thoughts?

When the control is first placed in a container (whether it is a form or usercontrol, etc.) the UserControl fires the InitProperties event. Within the sub for this event you can initialize your properties. This is the only time this event is fired.
