changing dataCombo dropdown height

I have a datacombo that holds more than 8 items and I'd like to show them all without the scroll bars. I've a couple of methods using API code to do this with regular combobox's but it doesn't seem to work with the datacombo.

Can somebody help?

I've had the same issue in past projects. If my users insisted that the items be shown without the scroll bar, I just went back to a standard combo and programmatically adjusted the dropdown height. If this is also a real issue with your users, I suspect you will have to do the same.
