(bored programmer)
always AMAZE me!
I find that I run out of time NOT ideas.
I program in VB5 & 6 all day and when I get home I spend hours playing with JavaScript
I have 20 or so small vb tools at work which I which I wrote to help me and my coleages.
What I would really like is an internet facing server all of my own to play with because I LOVE server side scripting in Javascipt and or VB script, and playing on PWS with no audience just isn't the same.
unfortunatly I am yet to make any serious money because I am salaried and I can't risk not being employed.

Well Mark, it may not be your own server, but www.ewebcity.com lets you create a web site on their virtual server for free with no banner ads. That's where I test all my ASP and javascripts, and also host our companies web site.
I agree with you. I never have enough time in a day to do everything I want with regards to programming. I have three projects and three web sites I'm working on right now, and a bunch of books I want to read. There is just so much to do and learn, I can't see how anybody could find the time to even be bored.

I can't agree more. I program in VB 8 hours a day at work (well not only programming, there's a lot of analysing to), and I study for MCSD in the evening. I just can't find the time to do the fun stuff I would like to do for myself, and still have a social live.

Ok guys, that's it, i study some **** called medicine and i do programm around 8 to 12 hours a day for fun, not for making money, and i still have lot's of free time which i don't know where to spend, but i believe in one thing, these programming languages will drive us insane some day, any one agree with that, and also any one has any new idea to programm, coz i got bored from copy-cat thing,,,
have fun guyz

Mih_Flyer - Hold up! you are studying medicine and are spending 8-12 hours a day programming for fun and you still have lots of free time!! That is not really what I like to hear about prospective doctors, so if you could write back with something reassuring like:
'After studying medicine for 10 or so hours a day I dabble in VB for an hour or two....'
Thanks in advance
