Creating an add-in without the wizard?

I only hacve the learning edition of Visual Basic and am pretty new to the language. I want to know how to make an add-in for visual basic but I do not have the add-in wizard that comes with the proffessional edition of VB.

Any suggestions as to how I make an add-in without the add-in wizard?
