How do you change Printer settings

I need to change a Printers orientation setting. I've tried using the VB Printer object with no success.

Which API should I use to change a printers orientation setting?

The PrinterProperties API displays the Printer common dialog box.
I need to change the printer orientation without displaying the Printer common dialog box. There must be an API which can do this.
